Founded in 2018 by student Skylar Darrow, the mission of the Queer Resource Center is to provide a safe, inclusive environment for LGBTQIA2S+ students. The space is for students to meet others in the community and gain a support system while at Butte College. Learn More...
Our Services
Direct Support
Meet with us face to face.Students can meet with our Student Assistants or Program Clerk to discuss issues of safety, relationships, and life in general.
Student Lounge
Socialize with others over snacks and games.Students, faculty and staff can relax in our soft seating and socialize with others over snacks and games. Just remember this is a safe and inclusive space for all. Those that challenge the safety of the space will be asked to leave.
Lending Library
Students can check out a variety of Queer literature.Students can check out a variety of Queer literature.
Events and Education
The QRC is dedicated to bringing inclusive events and workshops to Butte Campus.Please check our BC Connect page for an updated calendar. If there is a special request, please email the Special Programs Clerk Robin Bonner at bonnerro@844201.com, or if you have expertise in a particular area or identity and would like a chance to share your knowledge, please let us know!
Sexual Health Products
The QRC is dedicated to providing free, inclusive sex products, and chest binders!Please stop by the center for supplies. If you feel we are missing something please let the staff know at bonnerro@844201.com.

GSET Mission: The mission of the GSET Team is to facilitate policy, procedural, and facility changes at Butte College related to gender & sexual orientation diversity to make Butte College a more inclusive and safe campus community for LGBTQIA2S+ students, staff and faculty.
